My Week #15 (February 9 – 15, 2015)

The last week before half-term seemed to drag – could the holidays come any slower?!

All of the lessons today were just revision lessons so we were all able to do our own work – mocks are after half term *cries* (they start on my 18th birthday… *double cry*)

I stumbled across ‘The 5am Club‘ on YouTube and I really wanted to give it a go! I ended up going to bed at 8:30pm to ensure I got enough sleep. I’m one of the unfortunate human beings who require at least 8.5 hours to function properly 🙁

Waking up at 5am was amazing. I had so much time I didn’t know what to do with myself! Today, during first period, about seven of us sixth formers had to prepare a short 6-minute speech based on our Oxbridge/Medical/Dental university interview experiences in order to help future applicants. We were filmed and it was really awkward. I’ve also been wondering what on earth I should wear to my birthday party, and I think I’ve found a dress, but I didn’t know whether or not to get a Size 6 or a Size 8. I tried on one of my formal party dresses from last year which is a Size 6 and it still fits! I also took a sneaky selfie..

I spent the afternoon tucked up in bed watching The Great Comic Relief Bake Off and The Great British Sewing Bee. I also spent aaages online again considering possibilities for my gap year with Alice. Pictured below is a tree-house apartment in Bali which we could rent, aaah!

I didn’t go to school today since I wanted to use the time to do some work (I only had a few lessons and they would have been revision lessons anyway so…) Alice also came round in the evening and we spent a good 6 hours planning Australia this December-January. I am SO excited.

oh the poor snapchat quality

If you’d like me to do a post on my Gap Year plans then just comment below or tweet me at @violahelen_ 🙂

After Alice left, I stayed up until 1am looking up flights and reading lots of blogs about backpacking Australia. I was exhausted (bearing in mind I had woken up at 5am that morning) so I basically woke up at around 11am today. Too tired to do any work, I spent the day watching films in bed and scrapbooking – yay! I still haven’t finished my Summer 2014 scrapbook.

I managed to wake up at around 8am today. I’ve decided that I’ll get back into the 5am routine on Monday – we’re all allowed days off. Again, I spent the majority of the day watching more films and scrapbooking some more. I love getting my creative side out! I also baked some cakes, mmm…

How was your week lovelies?

Peace and love,
Viola xo
