Sunday Summary

This past week has been extremely jam-packed with fun days off, blogger events and various celebrations so I’m sorry for the delayed post!

– #BLFW was on Monday evening! I spoke to as many brands as I could and got gifted a few things to try out, so look out for the reviews. I had a lovely evening, although I was a bit gutted that I missed the cupcakes…

– work was tiring but all the money I’m earning is what’s getting me through – gap year travels here I come! What with the Rugby World Cup starting this coming week, we have been absolutely manic at work.

– the Book of Mormon: I treated my boyfriend to third row tickets on Wednesday for his birthday {he loves South Park} and we had a lovely day up in London. Byron Burger and the #bloggerfunfair were also on the agenda for the day.

– #bloggerfunfair was a really cute and well thought out event. Joe Browns had successfully recreated the funfair feeling by decorating an area in Bar Soho with mini boxes of popcorn, bowls of sweets and crisps and even having mini funfair games! We were also treated to a funfair-themed cocktail whilst browsing the new A/W collection (there are lots of gorgeous floral pieces!)

– senior prize-giving at school was on Thursday and I’m honoured to have been given the award for ‘Academic Excellence’. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

– homemade chicken curry cooked by the boyfriend on Friday was an amazing treat to come back from work to! It tasted so, so good.

– nando’s + pizza hut’s cookie dough has seemed to become a regular thing this week. On both Saturday and Sunday I went to Nando’s (lemon & herb grilled chicken burger with peri-salted chips and garlic bread, plus loads of wild herb, medium and garlic sauce alongside, yes please) and then Pizza Hut for their cookie dough! I should watch out… #fatpigalert.

catch up on Sunday evening with my gap year buddy over dinner {see above} had us even more excited for our travels in three months. We rearranged some of our dates and amended a couple of things – lots of stuff left to book and organise!

How was your week?

Peace and love,
