If We Were Having Coffee… | Vol. 12

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I’m bringing back my Christmas Blogger Gift Swap and you can sign up to this year’s one right here (go ahead – you know you want to!) I’m really excited about hosting it again this year as I wasn’t able to last Christmas (y’know, travelling and that) so it’ll be lovely to get to know new bloggers this year & just have fun planning it all. Plus, there’s potential for this event to be bigger this year which may mean I’m planning something else 😉

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I’ve been having these big, crazy ideas and my mind can’t stop rolling over them and thinking about how I can make these things happen. I spoke to a friend who’s recently started her own company and it’s inspired me so much. I’m so happy for her and I can’t wait for her to launch it properly!

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I started my university shopping. The first time I went with Mum we came back with one pair of heels (totally related to uni) haha so it’s good that we actually came back with stuff the second time round! I want to film a university haul video but I don’t start uni until October & by then everyone will have gone off and settled in already, waaah! 🙁

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I’ve recently teamed up with Anytime Fitness UK this month to show you guys their gym facilities & benefits! I’m excited because it means there’s no excuse for me not to get fit before university (especially as their gyms are open 24 hours!)

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I’ve finally got round to starting my university prep work. It’s taken me a while (and  a lot of procrastination) but now I’m getting into Latin grammar again I’m actually beginning to really enjoy it. This is why I loved Latin so much at GCSE that I self-taught it! Geek alert. #sorrynotsorry

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I’m seriously thinking about re-branding my blog and giving it a massive makeover. That includes investing money into it by going self-hosted, buying a domain name, investing in a web designer & graphics designer etc etc etc. but it’s a big decision (especially as the self-hosting requires the money upfront!) I’d like to take my blog to the next level but it requires time, energy & most of all: commitment. With my YouTube channel only just starting (and something I want to keep up during university), it will be tough work juggling university work, blogging, editing videos for YouTube on top of socialising & actually having a life! So I’ll see how things go for now and whether I’m ready for that level of commitment.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I would really really really really really like to find new blogs to read and other like-minded cool bloggers like me (can you tell?) I don’t know how to find them? And I don’t like asking people for their links on Twitter sometimes because then I’m just bombarded with poor blogs blogs that are only in it for the page views and don’t have particularly great content. Please help a girl out and suggest some for me to read – send them my wayyyyy!

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I had such a lovely evening at the #JessWrightxKISS event on Thursday celebrating the launch of KISS Nails, KISS Lashes & imPRESS Nails. We got to meet Jess herself (the new brand ambassador) as well as mingle with other bloggers over wine and nibbles. I also got my lashes done (the ones I got done actually looked really nice!) and there was the option for a manicure but I didn’t opt for that. You may hear more about the event on the blog (there’s lots on my Twitter page) but I’m definitely going to do a giveaway so look out for that if you’re interested!

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I spent  yesterday with my little sister up in London. We’ve both been so busy ever since I got back from my travels (over two months now!) but we finally set a date aside. We visited Shrek’s Adventure and The London Dungeons with my sister’s Merlin Magic Pass as well as eating at Chiquito’s for lunch followed by a three-course dinner at Pizza Express (healthy eating – what’s that?! 😳🙈). I love spending time with her and we definitely need to do it more often!

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I PRE-ORDERED THE IPHONE 7 yesterday. Do you know how excited I am??? After struggling along for the past two months on three different temp phones (you may have read about that here), I will finally have a decent phone which is mine this time next week – ahhhh!
