The Caribbean Series: Grenada – Part I

Hey lovelies!

I’ve been meaning to get round to writing and posting about my trip to the Caribbean back in July for a long time now, so I’m sorry for the wait. I’ve just ordered a personalised *squeals* blog planner from Toad which should be arriving in a couple of days soooo I should be on top of things very, very soon {at least I hope so!}

Since my sister just finished her GCSEs and I had just finished my A levels, our family had the perfect opportunity to jet off somewhere exotic whilst everybody else was stuck at school… and where else other than the Caribbean?!

We left for the Caribbean on Tuesday 30th June..

After a long flight with more than satisfactory food, we arrived at the Grenadian by Rex Resorts.

(we had afternoon tea too, it was perfect)

The view from our room was absolutely s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g:

The beach view…

My first two days was spent chilling on the beach and reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (I was re-reading all of the books).

The next day I decided to check out the pool and sunbathe some more 😉

On the fourth day we booked ourselves onto the hotel’s half-day tour of St. George’s. We visited Fort George and Grenada’s National Museum as well as seeing the gorgeous port.

After a walk around the town, we decided to get some lovely fruit smoothies to cool down.

(I got the red one – a fruit punch with strawberries and watermelon).

When we got back to the resort, we spent time on the beach and took some cute photos {but I’ll save those for another post}. Here’s a sneak peak…
