For the past two months I’ve been volunteering as an English teacher in Chengdu, China. I taught sixteen classes a week: 10 junior (year 8) and 6 senior (year 11). As part of my volunteer series, I’ve put together a post of my past two months in photos.
Included are:
- some bits of my two-day orientation around Chengdu
- teaching classes
- exploring Chengdu
- school life/activities
- a short trip to Xi’an during one of the holidays
- photos of and with students
Enjoy!

Next up in The Volunteer Series → My Experience. I hope to try and make that one as detailed as possible so if you’re interested in hearing about my experience or know someone who wants to volunteer then definitely check it out! Should be up by the end of next week 🙂
